Born in Como on August 6, 1981, Gabriele graduated from the Liceo Classico Statale Alessandro Volta in Como, before graduating in Communication Sciences and Technologies (in 2004) at the IULM University, where two years later he obtained a Master's Degree in Communication and Brand and Consumer Strategy.
After completing his studies, he began his career in advertising communications, holding the position of Account in Agency.com, the TBWA/Omnicom group's digital communications agency. During his experience at Agency.com, he began to collaborate with his friends Stefano Maggi and Ottavio Nava, with whom in 2010 he founded the Italian office of We Are Social, a newly founded communication agency in London and specialized in communication and marketing on social media. From 2010 to the present, he has followed the growth of We Are Social in Italy (first as Managing Director, then as CEO) and abroad, as a member of the Global Board of the agency. In 2018, together with his colleagues Stefano and Ottavio, he founded the Madrid office of the agency, of which he is also CEO. Today, We Are Social has about 180 people in Italy and almost 800 in 13 offices worldwide.
In 2016, the company co-founded Vetra, a craft brewery with a plant in Caronno Pertusella.
Since 2016, he has been a lecturer in Social Media Marketing and Communication at the International Master in Corporate Communication at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
