CURRENT POSITION:
Caterina Bocchi is contract holder for official Professional Writing course, pertaining to the Business Communication and Public Relations course of study, at IULM University, Milan.Èalso teaching assistant and cultrice della materia for the course of Contemporary Italian Literature and Italian Language and Culture (with writing workshop), in the Bachelor of Interpreting and Communication at IULM University, Milan. Since 2019, she has been teaching oral and written translation techniques at the Istituto di Alti Studi SSML Carlo Bo, Milan, for English and French.Èlecturer of Professional English at ILC (International Language Centre) of IULM University, Milan, for Bachelor's degree courses. She also works as a translator and conference interpreter in congress, exhibition and corporate settings in multiple professional fields.
LINES OF RESEARCH:
Caterina Bocchi works on contemporary Italian literature, with particular interest in Calvino and Buzzati, and literary onomastics. In 2020, she published an article entitled Messaggerisenza nome.I sette messaggeridi Dino Buzzati e i personaggi senza nomein the journal"Studi Buzzatiani"and iswinner of the Study Award "Conoscere Dino Buzzati" edition 2021.Her other lines of research are the methods and approaches of glottodidactics, with reference to the English language.
